A pleasant Valentine's Day morning in Delhi

Delhiites woke up to a pleasant Valentine's Day morning today with the minimum temperature being recorded at 10.2 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year.

Visibility at Safdarjung and Palam was recorded at 2,000 metres and 300 metres respectively at 5.30 AM, said a MeT department official.

Visbility at Safdarjung dropped to 800 metres by 8.30 AM and increased to 600 metres at Palam, he said.

Humidity was recorded at 90 per cent this morning.

Rail traffic was affected as 22 trains were reported to be running late by more than two hours while seven trains were rescheduled.
 

The weatherman has predicted a partly cloudy sky through the day with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 25 degrees Celsius.

Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 24.7 and 8.9 degrees Celsius.
