Shares of A2Z Infra Engineering rose by almost 5 per cent on Monday after the company bagged a contract worth Rs 96 crore from Jharkhand Urja Sancharan Nigam (JUSNL).
The stock gained 4.94 per cent to end at Rs 38.25 on the BSE. During the day, it surged 7.13 per cent to Rs 39.05.
At the NSE, shares of the company rose by 4.93 per cent to close at Rs 38.25.
In terms of volume, 2.91 lakh shares of the company were traded on the BSE and over 12 lakh shares changed hands on the NSE during the day.
A2Z Infra Engineering informed the BSE on Friday that a contract has been awarded from JUSNL vide LOI dated September 29, 2016 received on October 6 for design, engineering, supply, erection, testing and commissioning on turnkey basis of deposit work of SAIL.
Total contract price of the work shall be aggregating to Rs 96,00,89,976, it added.
