Advocates Association of Bangalore today resolved to request President Pranab Mukherjee not to confirm the appointment of Justice Pinto appointed for a two-year term after which it has to to be confirmed.
It decided to request Chief Justice of India Altamas Kabir not to recommend his name to the President for confirmation and Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court Vikramajit Sen not to assign any work to Justice Pinto, AAB President K N Subba Reddy said
AAB also resolved to submit a memorandum to request the Chief Justice of India to transfer Justice S N Sathyanarayana Judge, the High Court of Karnataka, to any other High Court, alleging he was using "unparliamentary and offensive" language against members of the Bar in open court.
