Aadhar Housing Finance Limited, a segment-focused housing finance company, today said it has entered Rajasthan with the simultaneous launch of branches at seven cities in the state.

The branches were opened in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Kota, Alwar, Bikaner and Bhilwada.

The company provides housing finance to lower income consumer segments -- both salaried and self-employed individuals -- with monthly incomes ranging between Rs 5,000 to Rs 25,000, its MD and CEO Harshil Mehta said.

Through these seven branches, the company targets to further reach out to 21 locations in the state, he said, adding that the state has high potential for low-cost housing.

"It is still difficult for lower income households and economically weaker sections to avail of financial access and our company is committed to empower low income consumers by providing them home loans," he added.

At present, the company operates in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Chhatisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal and Gujarat.
