Another batch of 10 Afghan personnel are being trained by the AAI in meteorological services, which would be of the same duration --six weeks class room training and two weeks of on-job training -- at its Lucknow facility, he said.
These 17 personnel have been trained at a cost of USD 1.70 lakh per person, he said, adding all the training expenses are being borne by the UNOPS.
UNOPS tied up with AAI for these training last year.
