Aam Aadmi Party leaders Rajmohan Gandhi and Ashish Khetan today faced protests from alleged BJP workers during their campaign in different districts of Gujarat, party spokesperson said here.

"Ashish Khetan faced protest at Palanpur, while Rajmohan Gandhi's cavalcade was attacked during poll-campaign in Bhavnagar district," AAP state spokesperson Harshal Nayak said.

Mahatma Gandhi's grandson and AAP candidate from the East Delhi Lok Sabha seat, Rajmohan Gandhi was attacked during a road show in Radha Mandir area of Bhavnagar, AAP worker Pinkesh Anand said.

"Gandhi and and Bhavanagar candidate Kanu Kalsaria was pelted with stones by BJP workers when their road-show was passing by BJP's head office in Bhavnagar," he claimed.

Anand also alleged that BJP workers tore their party banners, and in the stone pelting, the wind-shield of a car was broken.

Rajmohan Gandhi is on a five-day poll campaign in the state from April 18 to 23, in which he will go to Bhavnagar, Amreli, Nadiad, Ahmedabad East, Mehsana, Banaskantha and Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituencies.

Ashish Khetan, party's candidate from New Delhi Lok Sabha seat, faced protest at a public rally at Guru Nanak Chowk of Palanpur district.

"Eggs were thrown at us when Ashish Khetan began to address public rally at Guru Nanak Chowk of Palanpur," AAP worker Ashwin Desai said.

Desai alleged that BJP workers threw eggs following which AAP workers went to them and requested them to stop such act.

Khetan started his poll campaign in Gujarat yesterday and is likely to conduct various public rallies and road-shows in the next three days.

However, the party was yet to decide on its further course of action.
