Aam Aadmi Party leader Preeti Sharma Menon met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and demanded Revenue Minister Eknath Khadse's resignation in connection with a bribery case involving his 'PA'.

"AAP has demanded that the ACB probe in the bribery issue involving Khadse's 'PA' Gajanan Patil be made accountable to a High Court Judge and Eknath Khadse should resign," she said after meeeting Fadnavis here last night.

"The CM is satisfied with the probe and does not see the need to move it under judicial supervision or ask for Khadse's resignation," Menon, also a spokesperson of the party, said.

"AAP will continue to expose Khadse and every corrupt minister in Maharashtra and we urge the citizens to speak against corruption. Chhagan Bhujbal's case has shown that though it may be a long fight, there will be justice in the end," she said.

The AAP leader said she also raised the issue of call records of four landline numbers registered at underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's mansion in Karachi and of Khadse's name allegedly figuring on the list.
