The Aam Aadmi Party today said it will invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Arvind Kejriwal's swearing-in ceremony as Delhi chief minister on February 14 at the Ramlila Grounds.

"We will invite the Prime Minister to the oath-taking ceremony of Arvind Kejriwal," AAP spokesperson Ashish Khaitan said.

After its landslide victory, the AAP announced that Kejriwal will be taking oath as the chief minister on February 14 at Ramlila Grounds, exactly a year after he had resigned as Delhi chief minister on the Lokpal issue.

AAP today created history by winning 67 of the 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly polls.

Kejriwal defeated BJP's Nupur Sharma in the high-profile New Delhi constituency by a huge margin of 31,583 votes.

Kejriwal has already met Lt Governor Najeeb Jung and staked claim to form the government in Delhi.
