The Aapna Punjab Party (APP), a political outfit launched by former Aam Aadmi Party leader Sucha Singh Chhotepur today released its poll symbol, a cricket batsman, as it attacked the AAP saying its aim is to reclaim the state from Delhi based parties.

The Aapna Punjab Party also took a dig at AAP leader and Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann saying comedians are being brought to pull the crowd and divert people's minds.

"Our aim is to reclaim Punjab from Delhi based parties. For these parties, Punjab is nothing more than a voters list. Comedians being brought to pull crowd and divert people's minds," party spokesperson KP Singh said.

The outfit's Vice President Virender Singh said, "we don't want people like Sidhu. We will fight polls in Delhi as well. As the name APP suggests, it will be tech-driven party.

Chhotepur, former state convenor of AAP's Punjab unit, was suspended for alleged irregularities, a charge he has vehemently denied. He later quit the AAP to form the Aapna Punjab Party. However, he skipped today's event citing ill health.
