Skipper Varun Aaron (4/47) and Ashish Kumar (3/32) shared seven wickets between them to enable Jharkhand bundle out Maharashtra for a mere 210 on the opening day of the Ranji Trophy Group B match here today.
At stumps, Jharkhand themselves were reduced to 33 for two in 15 overs with Virat Singh and Saurabh Tiwary unbeaten on 10 and nine, respectively.
Put in to bat, Maharashtra were off to a poor start, losing top three batsmen for just 31 runs on the board before Kedar Jadhav (59) and Ankit Bawne (78) scored half-centuries each to steady the boat.

Bawne continued to play his shots despite wickets falling at the other end. The last three Maharashtra batsmen were out for a duck each.
Besides Aaron and Ashish, Ajay Yadav (2/35) chipped in with two wickets.
