Aastha Dargude and Kaaviya Balasubramanian toiled hard to enter the second qualifying round of the USD 15,000 Endurance Aurangabad Open Women's ITF Championships at the EMMTC tennis courts here today.
Aastha defeated Shivani Sri Sai 6-2 7-6 (7-2) while Kaaviya got better of Lalita Devarakonda 7-6 (7-5) 6-4 in two all-India first qualifying round match-ups.
Tejasvi Kate, Dakshata Patel, Prakriti Banwani and Sheetal Shetty scored easy wins in their respective matches to also enter the second round of qualifiers.
