Aastha tourist special train tomorrow

Railways will run an all inclusive 'Aastha Tourist Special Train' from Puri which will take travellers to a mix of popular pilgrim centres in northern parts of the country at an affordable price tomorrow.

The special train would touch different pilgrimage destinations for a period of 11 days and 10 nights till April 14, an East Coast Railway (ECoR) release said today.

The passengers of this region who are unable to get confirmed tickets or direct trains to the particular religious destinations may avail this facility by IRCTC tourist packages and general class tickets purchased through unreserved ticketing system.

Passengers who are not able to travel in package system of the tourist train can travel to various religious destinations of north India like Gaya, Mathura, Vrindavan, Agra, Haridwar & Rishikesh, Amritsar and Vaishnodevi from Puri, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, it said.
