An abandoned bag near a park created panic today amid the locals at Falakata in Jalpaiguri district where five people were killed in bomb blast recently.
The police said that members of the bomb squad found dry twigs from the bag at Jateshwar.
The area was cordoned off and sandbags were placed surrounding the bag to control the movement of people.
On 26 December, 2013 a blast in a moving bicycle killed five persons and injured nine others near Jalpaiguri town.
