An abducted college principal was rescued by the Police today from Matijhora village in lower Assam's Kokrajhar district, said a senior police officer.
Lalon Sonar (54), the principal of Hatidura College was kidnapped on July 29 from Dingdung, under Gossaigaon police station limits, IGP L R Bishnoi told PTI today.
Four Rabha National Liberation Front linkmen were arrested in this connection and a car used for abducting him was also recovered, Bishnoi said.
