A minor girl was found safe today after she was allegedly abducted from Bahera road here district, police said.
7-year-old Shivali Gupta, a resident of Gur Mandi area near Quila Chowk, was allegedly kidnapped by four unidentified persons when she was on her way to school this morning, they said.
Within a few hours, the girl's family had got a ransom call demanding Rs 50 lakh, police said.
A search operation was conducted and the girl was found safe abandoned at Sular area near Samana in the district, they said.
A case has been registered in this connection and efforts were on to apprehend the accused, police said.
