Abdul Halim arrested

The charge against Abdul Halim was that he had taken the SIM card with a fake address, police said.

Halim, who was also named as an accused in the Kozhikode twin blast case of March 3, 2006, had turned an approver.

Halim was named an accused in over 20 cases including the burning of a bus belonging to the Tamil Nadu Corporation at Kalamassery on September 9, 2005.

Thadiyantavida Nasser, the alleged Lashkar-e-Taiba operative, is the prime accused in the case.
