Abhinav Outsourcings to invest Rs 200 cr for expansion

Immigration consulting services firm Abhinav Outsourcings said it is expanding its network by opening new offices in India and abroad, and acquiring an established domestic company engaged in business of overseas education.

"We plan to invest around Rs 200 crore for expanding our network in overseas markets by 2020 and are also in discussion to takeover an education company. The firm has plans to raise these funds for investment through venture capital, existing banking relationships and internal resources," Abhinav Outsourcings, President, Ajay Sharma told PTI here.

International offices are planned in New York, Toronto, Sydney, Auckland, London, Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore and Hong Kong, he said.
 

Currently, it has 4 offices and has extensive expansion plans - within and outside India -through franchisee route. In India, the firm plans to open 130 franchisee by 2020, beside setting up 12 zonal offices, strengthening the number of staff up to 500 and launching a mobile application for prospective immigrants who want to settle abroad permanently, Sharma said.

Abhinav has plans to kick-start its franchise business from July 2017, and has significant capital investment in the pipeline. Besides Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Mumbai; Cities like Ahmadabad, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Bhopal, Ranchi, Lucknow and Chennai would be having zonal offices that would connect the entire cities with franchisees, he added.

The company, in business since 1994, is offering its services to its clients to present visa-petitions and immigration applications for permanent resident (PR) and temporary resident visas via skilled, self-employed, family, business, investor, student camp; state sponsorship classes - for various immigration destinations like Canada, Australia, UK, USA, Hong Kong, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia etc.

Abhinav is targeting consulting revenue of Rs 200 crore by 2020. Currently, the company services around 2,500-3,000 customers at any given time. It is also launching a separate division, which would focus in servicing visa needs of corporates and is expected to add to its revenue targets.
The immigration and visa consultancy business is

growing at a rapid pace as categories of entrepreneurship, businessmen and investors are looking at opportunities abroad.

The toppers in the skilled category, Canada, Australia and New Zealand occupy top spots, while America and UK positioning themselves on the top in the field of business and investment segment, where Indians are dominating.

Sharma pointed out that, over the years, around 8-9 million could be the approximate number of Indians who would have settled in big four - Canada, UK, USA and Australia - as immigrants.
