Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan today expressed his eagerness to work in a Tamil film as he recalled his 'old bond' with the city.
The 'Guru' star, who is the owner of the Chennai franchise in Indian Sports League (ISL), is also looking forward to spend some sporting days here as the glamorous soccer event unfolds.
"I would love to and I am dying to do a Tamil film," he told reporters on the sidelines of the launch of the Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon watch here.

He mentioned his favourites Tamil icons Rajinikanth and Kamalhassan and said he has a 'soft corner' for another tinseltown hero, Vikram.
Vikram had donned the role of Bachchan in the Tamil version of Maniratnam-directed 'Raavan' and is credited as a versatile star adept at slipping with ease into any challenging role.
The actor recalled that his father Amitabh used to work in the city as part of his professional commitments in the 80s, sometimes making the family enjoy the complete summer season here.
"I have been coming here since I was a kid. Since dad worked here for many of his films, we have spent many summers here. (I have an) old bond with Chennai," he said.
An avid football fan, Bachchan said it was the "passion of my life," adding he was eagerly looking forward to the ISL.
The actor already owns Jaipur Pink Panthers, which had won the inaugrual Pro Kabaddi League.
