Abida Parveen offers 'Noor-e-Ilahi' as Eidi for listeners

Renowned Pakistani singer Abida Parveen has teamed up with Bollywood music composer duo Salim-Sulaiman for a new single "Noor-e-Ilahi" on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Parveen's soothing voice sets the right spiritual tone, backed by soft, pleasant tunes by Salim-Sulaiman, who are known for their soulful numbers like "Shukran Allah", "Ali Maula" and "Maula Mere Le Le Meri Jaan".

Besides the musical trio, the song's video also features character actor Pankaj Tripathi and two child artists.

Hindi film and music industry stars heaped praise on the track.

"A beautiful song to make your Eid more special by the amazing @salim_merchant n @Sulaiman peace and love!" tweeted actress Sonakshi Sinha.
 

"Here's a special Eid treat by @salim_merchant @Sulaiman feat Abida Parveen. Enjoy...," wrote actor-singer Farhan Akhtar.

Music composer-singer Shankar Mahadevan tweeted, "On the joyous occasion of Eid, Spread the message of peace and love with Noor-e-Ilahi."

"Eid Mubarak. Here's Eidee from @salim_merchant @Sulaiman .. Beautiful song.. Enjoy...," posted singer Sonu Nigam.
