About 30 lakh devotees offered puja at the Baidhyanath temple in last three weeks during the ongoing month-long Shravani Mela in temple town Deoghar, a senior district official said Wednesday.
Till the 21st day of the Shravani Mela, the temple also received Rs 3.51 crore as offerings from the pilgrims, Deputy Commissioner- Rahul Kumar Sinha- told a press conference here.
Sinha said that three Mondays were successfully completed and the coming fourth and last Monday will also pass off peacefully.
The administration has made tent city for devotees to take rest and treated 1.21 lakh devotees free of cost in its medical centres, he said.
A total 316 CCTV, four drone cameras and two helium balloons carrying cameras have been installed as part of security measures, he said.
Lakhs of devotees walk 108 km from Sultanpur in Bihar to Deoghar with Ganga jal to offer to the Dwadas Shivling at Deoghar.
Some devotees also fetch water from the Ganga at Bhagalpur.
