District Plan Committee in a meeting held here today set aside Rs 119.96 crore for development of healthcare, infrastructure, drinking water, and education departments in Mathura district.
"There would be no dearth of funds. However, there should be no compromise with quality," Uttar Pradesh Transport Minister and Incharge Minister of the district Durga Prasad Yadav said while addressing the meeting.
The minister also directed the District Magistrate to verify the list of beneficiaries of different schemes, ensure healthcare reaches those in need and timely inspection of all local hospitals.
