Two persons, including an absconder involved in several cases of theft, were arrested in Jammu winter capital city, police said today.
Suresh Kumar, who was involved in several cases of thefts and was evading his arrest for the last five years, was arrested in Bakshinagar last night, a police officer said.
Police produced him in the court today, he said.
In another case, Sanjeev Kumar alias Kalu of R S Pura border town, who was carrying a weapon, was arrested during last night patrolling duty at Jeevan Nagar, he said.
The police team recovered one sharp weapon (Toka) from him, he said adding the accused was arrested by the Satwari police and a case has been registered in this regard.
