A man, wanted in connection with the murder of an AIADMK local leader in Tamil Nadu's Nagapattinam district some seven years ago, was arrested today from the city's rural limits, police said.
Babu (35) was wanted in connection with the murder of a local AIADMK leader in Kariyapattinam limits in 2007 and since then was he was absconding, police said.
Based on a tip-off, a special police team from Kariyapattinam arrested him on the outskirts of Velliangiri, they said.
