Abdulla alias Khader Moideen, hailing from Chennai, was remanded to judicial custody till July 16.
Two main accused in the case, also hailing from Tamil Nadu, had surrendered in January.
They used to smuggle electronic goods from Singapore to Kochi and then take it to 'Burma Bazar' in Chennai.
The case was registered last year on the basis of which the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence had arrested five persons earlier.
After it took over investigation, CBI had arrested five more accused in the case.
