A delegation of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the students wing of BJP, today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi to demand a rollback of Delhi University's four-year undergraduate programme (FYUP).

ABVP's National Secretary Rohit Chahal said the delegation handed over a memorandum to the Prime Minister regarding the FYUP issue and 10 other matters.

"A delegation of ABVP today met PM Modi and took up the matter of FYUP and other several issues before him," Rohit said.

Members of the delegation urged the Prime Minister to take steps to prevent education from turning into a business, he said.

Rohit said they have also demanded that the state universities should be given financial help on par with Central universities.
