ABVP volunteers held for burning Pak flag

Volunteers of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad were arrested today for attempting to burn Pakistan national flag to protest against the violation of ceasefire along the border.

Police said about ten members of right wing all India student organisation assembled at the District Collectorate here and set afire the flag they were carrying.

However, police put off the fire even as the activists managed to tear a photograph of Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, following which all of them were arrested, police said.
