: Tamil Nadu government today said it proposes to ply air conditioned buses between Chennai and all district headquarters across the state.
Speaking during question hour in the assembly, Transport Minister Senthil Balaji said government plans to ply AC buses between Chennai and all distrit headquarters and preparations are on to commence services from Madurai and Coimbatore.
He was replying a query to Usilampatti legislator P V Kathiravan.
After members made requests for bus services to Bangalore in Karnataka and Ernakulam and Palghat in Kerala, the Minister said the proposals would be taken up during the inter-state agreement talks.
