Vice president of the Andhra Cricket Assciation Jagarlamudi Narendranath passed away this morning at his residence in Guntur after a prolonged fight with cancer.
The 67-year-old Narendranath, who represented Andhra in Ranji Trophy, is survived by his wife and two sons.
The veteran cricket administrator was chairman of All India Womens Academy of BCCI and chairman ACA Womens Academy in Guntur after serving in the Museum committee of BCCI.

Honorary secretary Gokaraju Ganga Raju said, "the demise of Narendranath is not only a great loss to ACA but also BCCI womens cricket. I have the opportunity to play cricket with him as a childhood friend. He is a very committed Individual in every sphere of his life. What ever responsibility he takes up he will fulfil it very successfully.
"Infact his commitment and passion to development womens' cricket in Andhra resulted in Andhra Womens Cricket Academy, JKC Campus, Guntur. Today because of his sheer involvement and application this academy was recognised by BCCI as its Womens Centre in India."
Director MSK Prasad said that it's a great loss for ACA Womens Cricket because as the Chairman JKC College he allotted ground in the campus tied up with ACA and developed it exclusively for womens academy. He is one of the pillars of ACA. It is a great loss for Andhra Cricket Association.
