As many as 416 officials of Maharashtra government were arrested by the anti-corruption bureau in the past four months.
"The ACB has, in all, recorded 435 cases of which 416 cases are of traps (getting caught while taking bribe) while the rest are about disproportionate assets and other matters," said a release from the bureau.
Of these, 247 cases were registered against personnel from the home (114) and revenue department (133) alone.

Other cases figured officials of rural development (66), urban development (36), health (16), education (18), co-operation and marketing (10), among others.
Of those arrested, 35 were women.
