ACB arrests a Gramin bank manager in Kota for accepting bribe

A manager of a Gramin bank here was today arrested by sleuths of Anti Corruption Bureau for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 for sanctioning loan to a customer in Kota, an ACB official said.

Branch Manager of Baroda Rajasthan Kshetriya Gramin Bank in Kota, Vimal Kumar Jain had demanded the bribe from one Nandkishore Mali to sanction his loan of Rs two lakh, the official said.

After verification of the complaint, a trap was laid and the accused was held while he was accepting the bribe of Rs 10,000, he added.
