The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) nabbed the manager of the government printing press today afternoon while he allegedly accepted a bribe of Rs 42,000 from a newly appointed employee.
ACB Deputy Superintendent of Police Pratap Shikare said that a complaint was lodged that printing press manager Milind Shinde had allegedly demanded Rs 5 lakh to select the employee.
The ACB laid a trap and nabbed the accused red-handed while he accepted an initial bribe installment of Rs 42,000.
He has been arrested and a case registered against him, sources said.
