The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has taken over the investigation into financial irregularities in Jodhpur Development Authority (JDA), after an initial probe by the Additional District Magistrate found the charges to be prima-facie true.

"We have obtained all the files in question from the JDA today and have initiated the investigation," the ASP and acting DIG (ACB) Narpat Singh said, adding that ADM's probe report was submitted to the state government last Tuesday.

He said that these files include 16 files on civil works and 38 files on electrical works.

The investigation pertains to alleged irregularities and corruption in projects undertaken by the JDA in the two years prior to the state assembly elections in December 2013.
