Two police constables were allegedly attacked by an accused whom they were escorting to district court in a police van today.
The incident occurred in morning when Prince Chaitrasen Singh was being taken to the court in a police van by the police escort.
The trouble started when Singh demanded that he be taken in a private vehicle, which was refused by the cops, following which he attacked the constables and tore their uniform.
The constable sustained injuries in the attack.
Police have registered a case against Singh under appropriate sections of IPC.
