A man escaped from the police custody at the premises of a local court in Sanager town here.
The assault accused Mukesh Chaudhary was brought to the court in Sanganer town by police on Monday.
After the hearing in a case, the accused on pretext of going to toilet, hoodwinked the cops and escaped, police said today.
An FIR has been lodged last night and the role of those policemen who took him to the court is also being probed, they added.
