Action against two MP policemen for negligence of duty

A police inspector was suspended while another was line attached on the charges of negligence in duties while handling protestors at Narsinghgarh and Sarangpur towns respectively in the district.

The Narsinghgarh Police Station In-charge, R S Parmar was suspended yesterday for not ensuring proper law and order situation during a protest by farmers in front of Madhya Pradesh Power Distribution Company's office, Rajgarh District's Superintendent of Police (SP), Shashikant Shukla said today.

Similarly, Sarangpur Police Station in-charge was removed from field duties for manhandling innocent villagers including women while checking the sale of illegal liquor in Jamnaganj village on April 19.
 

Following a complaint in this regard a probe was conducted and on the basis of its report, the in-charge inspector, Prakash Mishra was line attached, Shukla added.
