Bollywood actor and brand ambassador of Premier Badminton League Akshay Kumar today termed the tournament the best platform for shuttlers to earn money and fame.
Talking to the reporters, Kumar said that PBL has provided all the shuttlers in the world a big platform, which would provide young badminton players, who have not played at international level, a golden chance to earn money and fame.
He said that the young players would get a chance to play with experienced players, which would help them in their future career.
Appreciating President of Badminton Association of India Akhilesh Das Gupta, Akshay said that PBL was a good step and he had discussed with him to make a movie on the game.
He expressed hope that the country would win a gold in the Olympic Games in Rio.
Welcoming the actor, BAI president Das Gupta said that Akshay was brand ambassador of the PBL and it was a welcome move.
