Mumbai police have registered a case of rioting against five persons who allegedly manhandled veteran Bollywood actor Sadashiv Amrapurkar for pointing out waste of water in a Holi event in his neighbourhood.
Police said the incident took place in the evening when a TV news channel approached the actor to speak about the current water crisis in Maharashtra.
Amrapurkar, who lives in Versova here, told the channel that 'a rain-dance' was going on at Panchavati building in his neighbourhood and asked them to shoot it as an instance of waste of water and people's insensitivity.
