Bollywood actor Anupam Kher today exhorted tourists to visit Kashmir even as the Valley continued to reel under the aftermath of incessant rains last week.
"We all know how much damage the last year's floods caused. This year, there was a small threat about the floods happening. There was genuine panic but that was brought to the national level and tourism got affected.
"But there is no danger now. The weather is fantastic. So come and enjoy the beauty of the state," Kher said.

"The soul of Kashmir is a little wounded but the only way it can be healed is by the love of the people. The whole country should feel the pain of Kashmir. The people have to support the state," Kher said.
The actor said there was an atmosphere of optimism in the Valley and there was so much beauty that "you can put up a camera anywhere and you will have a beautiful frame".
"I have been going mad and posting pictures on Twitter," he said.
