Actor Anwan Glover, best known for his role in HBO series 'The Wire', suffered a laceration on the right side of his torso after being punched, kicked and stabbed.
According to a police report, the actor was at nightclub Club Asia in Washington DC when an unknown person punched him.
Another person hit him in the back of the head after he turned to confront his attacker, causing him to slip and fall on the ground, reported Washington Post.

He was treated for the laceration on his torso at George Washington University Hospital.
While best known for his role as a tough gang member on 2002-08 drama 'The Wire', Glover also recently appeared in Oscar-winning movie '12 Years a Slave'.
Glover has been vocal off-screen about his aversion to violence, having lost a brother to a shooting in 2007, and his son was wounded in a shooting at a party in 2011.
