Celebrities from different walks of life today joined hands for 'Clean City-Dream City" campaign on a foggy winter morning, christened as the 'Ramdhanu' initiative.

"Easier said than done. As instilling the habit of keeping our neighbourhood clean can't be accomplished on a single day's march," blockbuster Ramdhanu lead actor Rachana Banerjee said after taking part in the walk in the southern parts of the city.

Rachana said the 'Ramdhanu' movement which brought up the perils of school admission to the audience, can be repeated in other spheres including the campaign for cleanliness.

Fashion designer Abhisek Dutta said dumping old articles clutter the environment and this can be prevented by recycling for aesthetic purpose.

Hundreds of children from schools and NGOs took part in the rally by Lions Clubs International, District 322B2.
