After superstars Rajnikanth and Mohanlal, Mammootty has extended support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Swachhata Hi Seva' mission.
The 'Pazhasi Raja' actor in a Facebook post said he considered Modi's invitation to him an "honour".
He also praised Modi's emphasis on cleanliness and said it was what Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi described as godliness.

"I have always believed that cleanliness has to start from within, like self-discipline, and not something that needs to be imposed," Mammootty said in the post.
Stressing the need to frame rules to make India cleaner, he said awareness campaigns have not always been consistent.
"I support your (PM's) efforts in that direction, and towards making Gandhiji's dreams come true," he said.
When an individual learns to respect his body, he would be inspired to spread cleanliness to those around him, the actor said.
The fortnight from September 15 until Gandhi Jayanti on October 2 is being celebrated as 'Swachhta Hi Seva'. The nationwide campaign is aimed at highlighting the Union government's initiative 'Swachh Bharat Mission'.
