Bhojpuri filmstar Ravi Kishen has said he is keen to contest the Lok Sabha polls and has sought Congress' ticket to fight from Jaunpur constituency.
"I have sought Congress ticket to contest Lok Sabha polls from this constituency. If the party gives me ticket, I will contest on its ticket," Kishen told reporters here yesterday.
He claimed that his name was present in the list of probable candidates, but even if he was denied ticket, he would contest the polls.
"I have offers to contest polls from some other parties too," he said.
