Tamil film actor Vishaal raided a video CD shop in nearby Pollachi and seized CDs of new films, including his 'Poojai' and handed them over to police.
The owner of the video shop was taken into custody for interrogation based on a complaint from the actor, police said today.
Vishaal, who has been camping in Pollachi for a film shoot, had sent two of his assistants as decoy customers to the shop last night asking for CDs of new films, particularly Tamil films.
