Grammy-winning singer Adele stopped in middle of her concert to to tell off a security guard who had been asking fans to sit down.

After finishing her song "Water Under The Bridge," Adele, 28, called out the security guard and asked him to stop telling the audience at Melbourne's Etihad Stadium to stop dancing, reported Contactmusic.

"Excuse me sir? I know you work here but can you stop telling people to sit down? This is a music show. If people can't see then they can stand up.

"If you're moaning about people dancing, what have you come to a show for? If I see one more person be told to sit down, I swear to God... Right, let's go, excuse my language," she said.

Adele is not the first one to scold security guards for being too strict on fans; Elton John reportedly threatened to walk out of his performance at Leicestershire County Cricket Club in England over the club's crowd control tactics in June last year.
