The 24-year-old singer is due to give birth to her first child in the coming weeks and the couple are renovating a home in Hove, Southern England, where they can be left in peace, reported People magazine.

Adele was raised in Tottenham, north London, but she doesn't want to stay in the UK capital with her child because it is too much like a goldfish bowl because of her fame.

"Neither she nor Simon want to bring up the baby in London. She says it's like a goldfish bowl. They want to keep a low profile when the baby is born. I think we'll see even less of her then," a source said.

"Despite her millions, she is going to give the baby the most important thing of all, love. The baby is very special to have such a special lady as its mother," it added.

Adele just released the theme song to the new James Bond film 'Skyfall' but she has no plans to do anymore work while she is in the latter stages of her pregnancy.

Instead, the Grammy winner intends to spend the next few weeks at home.

"She is totally laying low and nesting. She's enjoyed picking out furniture for the baby's room and trying to choose names," the source said.
