Last year the 'Someone Like You' hitmaker lost her ability to sing after a polyp was found on her vocal cords, which was surgically removed.

Doctors have warned the pregnant singer, 24, that her vocal cords could fail due to her gruelling workload, reported Express online.

"I used to always wonder will I hit that note, even when I wasn't ill. It is basically a clean slate in my throat. It doesn't mean it won't happen again. If I decided to go on a 200-date tour, it will happen again through exhaustion," she said.

Confessing to a fear of stage fright, Adele said, "It starts from the minute I wake up. My fear is that I am not going to deliver and people aren't going to enjoy it. I get panicky and sick, I have thrown up a few times."
