The Tamil Nadu ADGP (L and O), T K Rajendran, today reviewed and discussed security arrangements in the West Zone, following spurt of attacks by Naxals in neighbouring Kerala.
The official held discussions with top police officials, including West Zone IG, K Shankar and City Police Commissioner, A K Vishwanathan and reviewed the security measures in the areas bordering Kerala, police said.
Superintendents of Police of Coimbatore, Erode, NIlgiris and Tirupur participated in the meeting, they said.
