WBPCC President Adhir Choudhury today flayed Manas Bhunia for joining the ruling Trinamool Congress and said he had done so in fear of the murder case pending against him.
"It is a complete surrender by Manas Bhunia to Trinamool Congress in fear of the murder case pending against him," Choudhury told reporters here.
"But whatever Bhunia has done, he should resign from the Assembly and take a fresh mandate from the people of his constituency Sabang," he said.
Bhunia was made an accused in an incident of murder at Sabang during the last Assembly elections in the state.
