Adilabad, Ramagundam, Khammam sizzle at 43 degrees Celsius

Thunderstorms accompanied by squall are likely to occur at isolated places in several districts of Telangana, including Hyderabad, in the next 48 hours, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said today.

The highest maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius was recorded at Adilabad, Ramagundam, Khammam and Nalgonda today, the IMD said in its daily weather report.

The maximum temperature was appreciably above normal at one or two places in the state, it said.

Maganoor in Mahabubnagar district received 2 cms of rainfall, while Vikarabad and Gandeed (both in Ranga Reddy district) got one cm of rainfall in the last 24 hours.
