Aditya Birla retail's Q2 profit up 7% at Rs 64.89 cr

Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail (ABFRL), formerly known as Pantaloons Fashion, today reported 6.97 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 64.89 crore for the September quarter.

It had reported net profit of Rs 60.66 crore in the July- September quarter of last financial year, the company said in a BSE filing.

ABFRL's total income from operations stood at Rs 1,886.73 crore during the quarter under review, up 13.08 per cent as against Rs 1,668.36 crore in the year-ago period.

During the quarter, the company signed up a partnership with UK's Ted Baker.

ABFRL stock was trading 0.11 per cent lower at Rs 138.70 apiece on BSE in the afternoon trade.
